Jim Johnson was born in Buffalo NY in 1968 to Richard and Jean Johnson. He is the middle child of three brothers, Rich, Jim and Eric. Jim has always had a love for Art and expression. He has painting and creating art for close to 40 years now. He attended Buffalo University as an undergrad and graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelors in art education. Jim is a yankee turned southerner currently residing in Atlanta, Ga where he lives with his wife Christy, son Calder, and daughter Ava. He currently teaches elementary school art for Dekalb County schools at Camby lane Elementary. When Jim isn’t teaching his students he’s collaging, painting, and most of all chilling.
